Sean Hansen | Head CoachSean Hansen joined the University of Redlands as an assistant women’s lacrosse coach in August 2022. Hansen comes to the Bulldogs program after working as the director of girls lacrosse at Lacrosse Northwest in Portland, Ore. since 2018.
While with Lacrosse Northwest, Hansen handled coordination of leagues, camps, and clinics. Her coordination duties included hiring staff, marketing director for the Rose City lacrosse tournament, advertising, and recruiting.
Prior to working with Lacrosse Northwest, Hansen spent a year and a half (2016-18) as the head coach for Linfield University’s women’s lacrosse program. She developed and implemented a student-athlete recruitment plan, managed team budget, and coordinated team travel.
Hansen also gained head coaching experience at Sierra Nevada College (2015-16). She handled recruiting and created social media accounts that gained more than 700 followers.
From 2013-15, Hansen was a graduate assistant and the head coach at LaGrange College in Georgia. She earned her MA in Education and Teaching in December 2014. During her time in Georgia, Hansen recruited the largest class in program history and increased student-athlete academic progress.
Hansen graduated from the University of Redlands in 2010, earning a BA in Exercise and Sport Science with a minor in psychology and was a Johnston Student. During her Bulldog playing career, she played in 40 games with 39 career ground balls, 17 caused turnovers, and made one appearance in goal.

Alexis Parker | Assistant CoachAlexis Parker joins the University of Redlands Women's Lacrosse Coaching Staff in September of 2025 coming in as a dynamic and accomplished lacrosse coach with international and NCAA experience as both a player and a coach bringing a championship mindset to every role she has been in.
Championship Leadership
Alexis was a member of the Durham University's women's lacrosse team helping lead them to the 2024 BUCS (British Universities & Colleges Sport) National Championship and Conference Cup Championship during the 2023-24 season. She has proven track record of developing elite talent, including with England and Wales National team members, while successfully recruiting Division I and Division III athletes from the United States.
Educational Excellence
Holds a Master's of Science in Cognitive Neuroscience from Durham University, with her dissertation research focusing on cognitive flexibility in athletes. This unique academic background, combined with a Bachelor's of Science in Neuroscience from Regis University, brings a research-informed, evidence-based approach to athletic performance and student-athlete development.

Coaching Philosophy
Alexis is committed to fostering competitive, inclusive, and growth-focused team cultures. Her expertise spans player development, strategic game planning, recruitment, and comprehensive program management. Also has experience coaching athletes from youth levels (U10) through elite university competition, with former players now competing at prestigious institutions including Northwestern University, University of Maryland, Clemson University, and Army West Point.
Community Impact
Extensive volunteer experience across multiple organizations including Arizona Humane Society, Children's Hospitals, and international mission work in Guatemala and Peru. Dedicated to giving back through youth athletics, having served as Head Coach for middle school soccer (Conference Champions 2023) and coordinating lacrosse programs throughout Colorado and Minnesota.
